I am Clinical Assistant Professor in the Operations & Technology Management department, specializing in the digital transformation of supply chains and circular supply chain domains. My research focuses on optimizing supply chain design in both forward and reverse flows to develop agile and resilient solutions for today’s dynamic business environment. I have published extensively in prestigious journals on leveraging technology and analytics to enhance supply chain operations.
Before joining BU, I have gained significant experience as a research scientist at MIT and worked in various start-ups, bringing a rich blend of practical and academic expertise to my role. I taught undergraduate and graduate courses and conducted research in Turkey from 2012 to 2017. I hold MS and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial Engineering from Yildiz Technical University in Turkey and pursued postdoctoral research at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium.
I am an active member of the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society and the Decision Science Institute.
